Reiki I & II
Healing for you and others
Reiki is an energy based healing system thought to be thousands of years old. Founded by Dr. Mikao Usui in the 19th century, the current form is a system that can be used for self healing, self development and spiritual development as well as the treatment of others, animals and situations.
As a form of treatment, the Reiki practitioner becomes a conduit for the universal life force or “ki” (also known as chi or prana). This energy flow through them to their client, where it enhances the client’s own natural ability to heal on all levels—mind, body and spirit. The practitioner uses their intuition to discern where the ki is guiding them to rest their hands, and to partner with the ki so that the energy is drawn to where the client needs it most.
Through a series of three levels, you receive “attunements” which harmonise your energy and connection to the Reiki energy, literally bringing your more “in tune” with the energy. Along with the attunements you will also learn how to use this energy for your own benefit and to give Reiki treatments to others.
Level I (1 day – £100)
The emphasis at this level is primarily on self-healing and self-development, and on discovering the basic principles of Reiki. After receiving the first attunement, you will learn how to consciously connect with the Reiki energy, and how to give yourself treatments to aid your own physical, mental, emotional and spiritual healing. You will also learn Dr. Usui’s system for giving treatments to others through the resting of hands in specific positions on the body.
Level II (1 day – £150)
Building on and intensifying the Reiki energy from level I, this level focuses more on channelling Reiki to others. The second attunement strengthens your connection and will shift your Reiki practice to a much higher level. As well as further self-development and techniques to develop your intuitive connection, you will learn how to treat others and situations at a distance. You will also learn three Reiki symbols that can be used for intensifying treatments, for protection, for clearing, and for distance healing.
